CARNIVALE
With Albion secured and at least part of Erin free at last, a time for celebration is called. On the Illes des Pommes, a group of islands between the lands of the Lions and the Fir Cruthen a call is sent out to the factions that a celebration is to be had. Overlord Hart is to host a Carnivale in his lands for the countries to prove their worth against each other. This is a time to relax and enjoy, a time for remembrance.Hopefully on these sun kissed isles the Free Peoples be granted some rest and respite from their recent trials and tribulations, time to mourn and honour friends who sadly have fallen and time to reflect on the great deeds of valour and courage witnessed this year. A time to make merry and enjoy life under the summer sunshine on these peaceful isles.
As ever however dark clouds hover on the horizon so you must be ever watchful and keep your eyes, ears and swords as sharp as ever. Rumours abound that the Tokra have been active in the sea lanes near the isles since last year and they are not known to be afraid to attack anybody or indeed anywhere! Perhaps remnants of the Invaders are in the area also as they must be sea faring folk, otherwise how did they invade Erin? Perhaps a lighter cloud on the horizon is the rumour that Her Imperial Highness Empress Nigousan the first may chose to visit her friend Lord Hart at this time of celebration, but who can tell the likely truth of such a rumour where it concerns the inscrutable Imperial Court?
So welcome friend to the Illes des Pommes and Carnivale. Relax, be merry and remember the past.
