  • CHILDREN AT CURIOUS PASTIMES

At Curious Pastimes we are happy to welcome children to our events, however there are some important rules and protocols that must be observed.
  • Anybody under 16 of age must have the written permission of their parents/guardians to attend any Event.
  • A copy of this permission must be kept upon their person at all times
  • Anybody under 16 years of age must be in the care of a designated responsible adult during an event. This person must be named in the parents/guardians written permission.
  • Anybody under 16 years of age will not be allowed into an event unless they are accompanied by the named responsible adult. The named responsible adult must not leave site without the minor that they have taken responsibility for. The named responsible adult will be held responsible for the minor in their care, for the duration of the event and in any and all circumstances.
  • Due to health and safety no person under 16 years of age will be allowed onto any battlefield at any Curious Pastimes Event.
  • Whilst we recognise that the rules may appear strict, we ask you all to remember that our primary concern is our customer's safety. We do ask you to remember that no matter how well organised a mock battle be accidents can happen. Therefore please take special care around young people at all times, especially during combat situations. We apologise for any inconvenience that these rules may cause, but unfortunately we have no choice but to enforce them. These are a set of rules that we have had to introduce in order to meet our duty of care. In all that we do our primary concern is for our customers safety. In particular battles are an area of concern. We ask you all to take special care around young people at all times.
