  • GAME ORGANISATION DESK

Here you can make all sorts of enquiries about the event in character as well as out of character. The game organisaton desk will generally be open from 9.30 am until 9.00 pm every day. Outside of these times or during high activity periods there may only be a skeleton staff on duty so try and call in between these hours, at all the events staff can be contacted by radio, should the need occur, until time out. If all else fails find a referee! Please note that the desk may shut for lunch and for some battle activities, this will be sign posted outside the tent.

Please check the signs for Alchemy times and Faraging times. Spell cards and veteran cards must be collected before 2.00 pm, or a rank one spell will be deducted, after 6.00 pm no spell/veteran cards will be given out, without a very good reason.

    EVENT MANAGEMENT

This may be a seperate tent or part of Security depending upon the event. Here you may make any OOC enquiries or complaints. The Event Manager is responsible for the whole of an event, and is the person who will ultimately deal with your enquiry.

    GAME TIME

Time in for the event is from 10.00 am until 2.00 am. Outside of these hours it is time out! We are aware that many of you will carry on chatting throughout the night but please be aware of people trying to catch some sleep and keep the noise to a minimum.

During time in you are considered to be in character all of the time. The only exceptions to his are inside and immediately outside the toilets and washing facilities, catering areas, the Event, Security, First Aid tents, and the Car Park. Being indisposed in your own tent is also considered time out but people bobbing in their tents or sitting outside of them saying "I am time out" are cheating! Stop it! Large combats are not to be entered into within camping areas. Though we accept some scuffles may break out at the entrance to a faction camp. Again use common sense and respect other people's personal property.

    FIRST TIMERS

If this is your first LRP event or even your first experience of role-playing games, please do not be afraid to ask for advice. Staff and players are usually only too happy to start you off on your LRP career and will give you the basics to get going. This is particularly important if you have never experienced the fighting syle used at LRP events. You definitely need to get training in order to fight safely. To make this easier, at every event, there is a briefing held for new\inexperienced players. This is held in the IC tavern 2 hours before time in at each event. This briefing covers all you need to get started including fighting tuition and Q&A. PM Workshy for more details.
